Q&A Fridays with Osmosis Glow #1

Hey Glow Getters! Welcome to the first episode of Q&A Fridays, where curiosity meets creativity. Every week, you ask the questions, and I dive into the neon-lit world of Osmosis Glow to give you the answers. This is your backstage pass to everything Osmosis Glow, from our journey, our amazing team, to the vibrant signs that light up your world. Let's get glowing!

Question 1: What was the most challenging sign you received? How did you bring it to life?

The most challenging sign I've ever crafted was undoubtedly the Jack Daniel's sign for Bull & Barrel. This project tested my skills for two main reasons. Firstly, I pride myself on excellent customer service. The client has supported me through various projects, so I aimed to deliver promptly. Secondly, the sign's sheer size was daunting. Measuring a massive 5 feet by 6 feet, I had to split it into two parts and seamlessly join them. It now graces their stage, setting the perfect vibe, especially on bull Wednesdays. Shout out to Bull & Barrel and Riley McGee for the question!

Question 2: What it is, what's up?

Things are good, bro. I’m having a moment right now. I got an offer to be part of a show, and I’m pondering if it aligns with my brand's vision and values. I don't jump at every opportunity; it has to fit the ethos of Osmosis Glow. Shout out to Maiden YQG for always keeping it real.

Question 3: Does a friend help you think of content and take videos or just whoever is around you at the moment?

Great question! Initially, my girlfriend was my go-to camerawoman, but her schedule didn't always align with mine. To overcome this, I invested in a 360 camera, allowing me to capture the entire scene and adjust in post-production. Most of the content ideas are mine, inspired by trends or spontaneous creativity. Recently, I hired a marketing assistant, Yana, who’s been a fantastic addition. You'll be seeing more of her in future videos.

Question 4: Where did the name Osmosis Glow come from?

Here’s the deep dive. The name "Osmosis Glow" came to me in a dream, given by Jesus himself. True story. It's a divine inspiration that shapes everything we do. I'll share the full story in a more detailed video soon.

Question 5: Can you make QR codes with your lights? Would they be scannable?

Yes, we can create QR codes, but not with neon due to the tubing's thickness. Instead, I use a CO2 laser to craft intricate designs. We're launching a new product line next year that will cater to detailed and intricate requests, so stay tuned!

Question 6: What are your most and least favorite parts of your business?

My favorite part is meeting new people and creating efficient systems. Surprisingly, my least favorite part is actually making the signs. It’s a meticulous process that can be lonely and challenging, but seeing the final product makes it all worthwhile.
